Start? I've always drawn, but I didn't really start to draw seriously until grade 8.

✖ Which is easier to draw - male or female?
I used to only draw females, but lately I've been trying to draw more males... that didn't turn out so well, since everything I draw now have a questionable gender. orz;;;

✖ Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
LONG FLOWING HAIRRRRR~~~ (I can attack the page with a gazillion lines and it would still look nice |D)

✖ Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
...There isn't much of a difference for me, but generally they tend to face the left, since I'm right handed and all.

✖ Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Umm...not sure really. Probably the front view, since the side view always look so different from what the person actually looks like (and it looks the same all the time OTL)

✖ What do you have problems in drawing?
Basically general anatomy. Hands, omfg. Arms, legs, and male body proportions (wtf it's so weird.) Backgrounds in general. Etc.etc. I could go on forever D8

✖ What do you like to draw?
LONNNGGGGG FLOWING HAIR. EMO PEOPLE. HEADSHOTTTTTS. Blood. Eyes. Lately, Victorian clothing.

✖ Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Both, I guess. I feel more comfortable with traditional, but lately I've been just scanning all my sketches and then colouring it digitally...so I guess both?

✖ Where do you start drawing from?
FOR SOME REASON I START WITH THE EYES (then nose, mouth, face, hair, neck, etc). Most people start with the face shape, but somehow I don't feel comfortable having a "boundary" for the face before drawing the features. I should get out of that habit.

✖ What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Oh snap. This could take a while. Um, drawing the eyes first. Getting lazy after I draw the face. Not finishing anything past the sketch phase. No expressions (or all emo LOL). Fail poses. Fail proportions. Failfailfail. :'D

✖ Any tips for coloring/shading?
SHADE. SHADE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. Contrast lots and don't be afraid to stick in a really dark colour next to a light colour. And be aware of the light source...and always put a sample of the colours you're using on the side, because it's hard to find the exact colour you used before if you want to use it again OTL. (Actually, I should listen to my own advice. swt;

✖ How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
NOTHING IS EVER FINISHED.

✖ What music do you listen to while you draw?
Mostly classical. Waltzes. Symphonies. And occasional SINE COSINE TANGENTO~ (An Cafe lmao.)

✖ How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Think...? Who thinks? I don't really think of a concept before I draw. I just add things as I go along, or draw a general idea on impulse. If I DO think of concepts... well then I never get around to actually doing it, haha.

✖ Your favorite drawing utensils?
Those cheap plastic 0.7mm lead pencils work really well~ I love those Asian refillable eraser stick things too. On the computer, I usually just use PS CS2 and my tablet <3

✖ Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
...I don't really colour a lot LOL. But I like blue a lot~ (hate yellow though, the shades look like puke.)

✖ Your favorite style(s)?
Generic traditional styles~ Classical/Romantic era styles (Da Vinci, Raphael, Delaroche, for example), but lately I really like a mix between manga/anime and the traditional styles, ( for example, or or or for example. lolollinkspam)

I don't really look for the artists, haha...it's mostly the story. The art just adds to it.
